Ice Giants Madness

After an all day long of malling, strolling  & sight seeing around Davao City, we finally come to an end...time to rest our feet, cool down and chillax! These young ladies are a sucker for ice cream so I decided to bring them to this famous Ice cream parlor called "Ice Giants".  Basically made up of chocolate ice cream, ice and mixtures of marsh mallows, choco sticks and some chocolate candies, more than enough for the five of us, we almost didn't finish it all.

Nails Done!

Nails Done!

It's been a while since I last self-manicured my nails. Getting my nails done by expert nail artist isn't that expensive...I'm just too coward to let other people touch my nails. I'm just glad that I managed to have a spare time to do it myself.  I love the color though I rarely use it on my nails. As a full-time mom and housewife doing all household chores at home, I seldom gave my nails a makeover coz apparently I'll just break them up not unless a special occasion is coming up.

Aliyah's Graduation Dinner @ Punong Restaurant

Aliyah's Graduation Dinner @ Punong Restaurant

After the graduation program of my baby girl we dine out and invited some of our closest relatives on both sides. It's been a dream come true for me since I've been dying to go and try the said Seafood restaurant. The place is great and one good thing is, it's not that crowded but you need to have your own vehicle to be able to go there. The only problem we encountered were the mosquitoes and there's lots of them. There really is a need to bring an insect repellent to protect you from mosquito bites. Aside from the mosquitoes, there are no other problems at all. Over all, we had a sumptuous dinner in a price that's just right!

Yummy Japanese Siomai

Almost everyday my son buys siomai on street vendors outside his school. Fearing for my son's health, I decided to search the internet for a siomai recipe. Right there and then I bought the ingredients and steamed my very first siomai. Realizing that I still do have dried seaweed sheets called "NORI" , though feeling a bit tired,  I still made a Japanese siomai ... unexpectedly my kids love it more than the regular siomai that I made.

Here's a simple recipe I got from the internet:

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lb ground pork
3/4 cup onion (minced)
3/4 cup carrots (minced)
1/2 tsp pepper
wonton or siomai wrapper
1 egg
1 tsp salt
DIPPING SAUCE:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon or calamansi

Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients together apart from the wrapper.
Wrap the meat in wanton or siomai wrapper by adding about 1 tbsp of meat in the center of the wrapper then press all the sides to the middle leaving an open space on top. Place all the wrapped meat in the steamer. Steam for 20-25 minutes.Serve with dipping sauce. Serve hot and enjoy!

Home Made Chocolate Cupcake

Since I bought my new GE Microwave oven I've always been excited to make cupcakes for my kids. For that reason, one day I bought all the stuffs needed to make one. Now this is the result of my experiment and I'm very proud to say that my kids love it and even their dad love it too.

Upon baking, I accidentally created this moist cake and she loves it too :)

I found this Chocolate Moist Cake recipe online that I would like to share with everybody.

Pre-loved Ladies Bag Found Today

Together with my two older sisters, we went to the city's public market to look for "pre-loved" bags, luckily at the second shop that we went through, I found this nice floral ladies bag for just Php100. Amazed by its cheap price, I then took a 100 Peso bill from my wallet and paid the sales lady. This is the second pre-loved bag that I bought from the same shop.
