Right after the Saranggani Bay Festival popularly known as SarBay Fest, we then headed to Tupi, South Cotabato to visit my friend Tonyo who works in Edens Flower Farm. I really appreciate his hospitality to our group he gladly welcomed us into his house. There, we're able to take a bath, charge our gadgets and have lunch. I called him few days before the trip if he can be our tour guide and that his daughter can come with us too.
From Geneneral Santos City, Tupi is 45minutes to an hour away by land, beware of the 40km/hr speed limit which is strongly emposed upon reaching the municipality proper. After lunch we then decided to have another adventure to make use of our time and grab the opportunity since we're already in the south. The road going to Lake Sebu is fine most of the time concrete. From my car's window I saw several souviner shops outside making me so excited to go out of the car the moment it stopped. It was already 2pm when we reached the place so we wasted no time and hurried inside.

Located in Barangay Siloton, Lake Sebu is an awesome place to relax and unwind. Few steps from the entrance you'll see the first waterfall, but in order to see the rest of the falls you need to ride the Zipline or trek down the eco-park which we can't do since we are out of time. Well of course since I'm an adventurous type of girl I did took the Zipline challenge. Six of us took the ride including my friend Tonyo and his daughter. I have no regrets at all, the ride was a lot of thrill and I felt complete after the ride hahaha! Don't dare miss the zipline if you go to Lake Sebu, it's really worth it!
Going back home we passed by few stalls selling the infamous Tilapia fish. We bought about 4 kilos of it for dinner, deep fried to perfection! We are so lucky to have our tour guide Tonyo, not only is he a tour guide but also our cook hehe. I really owe him a lot! We rested for few hours especially me since it's my turn to drive going back to our native land Davao City.
South Cotabato has so much to offer other than Lake Sebu and the Seven falls, there are many beautiful inland resorts and mountains to hike. I am coming back to blog more about the place!
